„New York Times“ kürt die besten Bücher 2019

In gleich zwei Jahresbestsellerlisten der „New York Times“ kann Penguin Random House kräftig punkten: Auf der Liste der „100 Notable Books of 2019“  der „New York Times Book Review“ stellt die Verlagsgruppe 45 von 100 Titeln und damit so viele wie nie zuvor. Und auf der „New York Times“-Liste der „10 Best Books of 2019“  stammen fünf von zehn Titeln von Penguin Random House.

Passend zum Weihnachtsgeschäft legte die „New York Times Book Review“, die wöchentliche Literaturbeilage der renommierten „New York Times“, jetzt ihre traditionelle und vielbeachtete Liste der besten Bücher des zu Ende gehenden Jahres vor, die „100 Notable Books of 2019“. Für Penguin Random House ist die Liste ein weiterer Beleg eines erfolgreichen Bestsellerjahres: Gleich 45 der insgesamt 100 Titel auf der Liste aus den Genres „Fiction & Poetry“ sowie „Nonfiction“ erschienen bei Verlagen der Bertelsmann-Verlagsgruppe – mehr als je zuvor. Bereits vor einigen Tagen hatte die „New York Times“ zudem ihre zehn besten Bücher des Jahres („10 Best Books of 2019“) gekürt. Hier stellt Penguin Random House fünf von zehn Titeln.
